| Founded in 1998 by Curtis Martin, FOCUS serves as a national outreach to college campuses, both to secular and Catholic schools. Through small group Bible studies, large group leadership training, one-on-one discipleship and mission trips, FOCUS brings the fullness of life and truth found in the Catholic Church to college students, and equips them with the tools to help them share this good news with their friends. FOCUS is working to play a vital role in the “New Evangelization” called for by Pope John Paul II. FOCUS was launched with two staff members on one campus in 1998. For the 2007-08 school year, FOCUS will have 147 missionaries serving on 33 campuses in 18 states, reaching over 250,000 students with plans to grow to 100 campuses in the next ten years.
